So, what if you can’t accomplish something big every day? It’s okay to take baby steps.
In fact, that’s what leads to “getting the job done”.
Remember when you were learning to walk? It was. . . try . . . fall . . .try . . . fall . . .then, one day, you DID it. Wow!
If you can do just a little bit every day on a lot of things, that is a productive day.
For instance: Just read two pages of that novel.
Make a list of things to do, but just do the first one.
Write one blog post and save it. Don’t even post it until later.
See? Little by little that BIG list of “Things I Have To Do” will get done.
Even dieting: lose a quarter pound a day, that four ounces. The next day, lose four ounces more. That’s half a pound.
See? Little by little, things get done – if you just keep trying!
You can do it. It can be done. (Think about it, in four days that’s a pound-gone!)
Everything doesn’t have to be done all at once. That’s for people who wait until it’s almost too late and then you feel the pressure that it has to be done!
Relax.
It you just inch along and do something little on each of those big projects, well, see for yourself: Today’s topic is finished. That’s enough of a step for today.
